1 Year, Full Time MBA Program
One option for students considering their MBA is to attend a full time, 1 year program. This program is significantly different than the common two year program, has more stringent entrance requirements and often requires a specific level of career or work history in order to be considered by the entrance committee.
One year, full time MBA programs are typically between 12-16 months in length. These MBAs condense coursework as well as often remove the option for specialization or the requirement of some basic level courses. Due to the intensity of this type of graduate school program, students dedicate their focus full time to completion, not to part time or even full time employment. Most students who choose this MBA option are currently employed and are seeking career advancement, often supported or sponsored by their current full time employer.
